Santa Elena Preserve
Costa Rica
Pocketed between the prodigious “Área de Conservación Guanacaste” (ACG) National Park and the border of Nicaragua, is the Peninsula of Santa Elena. Named after Peninsula Santa Elena in the ACG, Santa Elena is an extension of the same natural beauty and habitat that draw people to this renowned National Park. Here, over 3,700 acres of land stretch across the base of the peninsula offering a rich diversity of environments including world class beaches, forested areas abundant with wildlife, mangroves and estuaries rich with aquatic life.
Divided into three areas each with distinct natural features which suggest different opportunities for access, amenities and activities — Bahia Soley, Las Mareas and Punta Clara –, Santa Elena is being carefully studied and planned to become an integral part of the vision for the future of this region. It is perfectly situated to become a world-wide destination with access to the magnificent natural and cultural sites of the region and ability to protect their majesty.
The project benefits from its proximity to Liberia´s International Airport, which has experimented an increase in traffic of over 6 times over the last few years, and to the Four Seasons Papagayo Resort, a massive project that has received over US$300 million in investment and has established Costa Rica as a world-class destination.
The investors behind the project include strong regional groups.
