Carlos Hernández - Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Hernández has over 15 years of development experience with residential, commercial and hotel developers including Fairmont Hotels, where he led the development of large projects in Mexico and Bahamas.  Some of the most significant projects he has worked on include the famous Ventanas al Paraíso resort project in Los Cabos, Mexico and the massive Atlantis Resort & Casino in Bahamas.  He has been involved in residential projects in Miami and in the construction of commercial and industrial facilities in Mexico and Atlanta.  As Head of Pellas Development Group, he was also responsible for the conceptual development and start up of the Santa Maria Golf & Country Club in Panama, which has seen the investment of over US$85 MM.  He is a member of the Recreational Development Council of the Urban Land Institute (ULI).  Mr. Hernandez holds a BS in Civil Engineering and a MS in Finance.



Patricio Lanuza - Chief Financial & Investments Officer

Mr. Lanuza has over 15 years of experience in the structuring and financing of real estate, power, oil & gas, and mining projects in the United States, Latin America and Europe.  Prior to Pellas Development Group, Mr. Lanuza worked at Bayerische Landesbank and Deutsche Bank in New York as a VP of Project Finance, Latin American Corporates and Distressed Assets. Before he entered the financial industry in New York, he spent four years as a Project Specialist for Reliant Energy International, the M&A arm of Reliant Energy in Houston where he participated in the acquisition of large energy distributors and generators in Latin America.  He holds a MBA from Georgetown University in Washington DC, a MS in Latin American Studies from Oxford University in the UK, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
